CAMI to Transform Molecular and Immunological Research in Phoenix
The University of Arizona Health Sciences Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies (CAMI) is set to become a beacon of scientific advancement.
Located in the heart of the Phoenix Bioscience Core and spanning over 200,000 sf across seven stories, CAMI will include cutting-edge research laboratories, a clinical suite, administrative offices, meeting spaces, and community-focused amenities such as an urban garden and café. Designed by McCarthy Building Companies and SmithGroup, the project is slated for completion in 2027.
On the heels of breaking ground on this state-of-the-art facility in October 2024, Adam Denmark, SmithGroup president, science & technology design strategist, director of lab planning, and our vice president, design director Mark Kranz spoke with Lab Design News to share more about this transformative journey to push the boundaries of science and research.
