Stephanie Mitrovic
"I’ve always been a planner with big goals and lofty ambitions," says Stephanie. Still, she marvels that her career has been "Everything I imagined and more. I have had the opportunity to work with incredible teams and amazing clients in the most surprising locations. Every day is a new day with a fresh beginning and endless potential." Stephanie has carried that motivation and positive spirit with her around the world, whether working on her capstone thesis on urbanism in Buenos Aires, traveling to see family in Croatia or any of the other 40 countries she has visited. Her back-up career, she suggests, would’ve been working for the U.S. State Department as a foreign service diplomat. Instead, she carves out time to work on her Serbian. "After being married to a Serb for more than a decade, I have a basic knowledge of the language," she notes. "My four-year-old is more fluent than I am."
"There are many projects that I have been really proud of, but there is one that sticks out in particular. That's the Daniel K. Inouye Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency Forensic Identification Laboratory....this project served as an opportunity to be part of a mission for something that is important to our country."
