Anne Bilsbarrow

As a child, Anne was intrigued by cities; the budding artist in her was captivated "by the interplay of patterns and people moving through them," she recalls. The interest never waned, leading Anne into a 30-year career as an architect and urban planner. Skilled in management, programming, and planning, she has worked on many major healthcare and education projects. As a Nursing and Simulation specialist for SmithGroup's Higher Education and Health Practices, simulation spaces are Anne's specialty, creating environments that mimic real-world experience in healthcare, important in developing core clinical competencies. Anne's experience focuses on refining the planning workflow to take advantage of new tools and technology.
