Matt McNeely

“I was drawn to architecture because it combines creativity with problem solving,” says Matt. As a project manager whose career has been dedicated entirely to higher education and science facilities, Matt brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to delivering new construction and renovation work of every scale. From community colleges to major research institutions, he guides clients and design teams from early planning through construction.  “I’m passionate about bringing people together around a shared vision,” he says. “I value the team-oriented approach of shaping higher education environments that not only solve complex challenges, but also create meaningful places where students can learn, engage, and thrive.” When not working on design projects, you can find Matt exploring the Appalachian Mountains or the Carolina coast. He also enjoys woodworking, a creative outlet that combines craftsmanship, patience, and attention to detail in a way that is as rewarding as the finished piece.
