Kenz Meliani Washington DC

Describing himself as “a technical thinker with an appreciation for creative expressions,” Kenz finds it rewarding to deliver a building that is not only beautiful but also equipped with sophisticated engineered systems that enhance its energy efficiency, operations and maintenance. Kenz has a particular interest in microgrid designs, on-site renewable and energy storage systems, and other technological advances that he considers “the future of our sustainable world.” Born and raised in Washington DC, Kenz continues to enjoy his city, checking out new restaurants and spending time in its many museums. The National Gallery of Art’s east wing, designed by IM Pei, gets a special nod for its interesting architectural form. He also makes time for the “freeing experience” of skiing. “I truly love being in the mountains, humbled by the serene beauty of nature,” says Kenz.
