Jennifer Morlock

Jennifer Morlock, San Francisco, Senior Principal, Architect, Ambulatory Care, Architecture, Cancer Care, Emergency Medicine, Health, Health & Wellness, Women & Children's Health

A high school drafting class spurred an interest in architecture for Jennifer, "and I never looked back," she recalls. "I'm the type of person who doesn't change my mind easily." Jennifer has gone on to work in the Health market for more than 20 years. Projects range from acute care new construction and complex renovations as well as campus master planning and outpatient care to comprehensive cancer centers for clients like John Muir Health, which she managed from start to finish. "I enjoy the complexity of healthcare projects and the benefit they provide to the community at large. In addition, having a physical representation of all my hard work at the end of a project, brings a high that just can’t be beat," she says. "There aren't many professions that can give you that satisfaction." Jennifer grew up in Washington state, backpacking in the North Cascades from the age of 4. Today when Jennifer travels, she "explores whatever architectural highlights exist in the area," she says. "Architecture really is my passion."
