Caterina Hutchinson

As a Health Interiors Studio Design Leader, Caterina brings a thoughtful and human-centered approach to creating environments that support healing, comfort and community. "Interior design is the perfect combination of science and art," she says. Drawn to the profession at an early age, Caterina thrives on “the opportunity to challenge the status quo, stay curious, and develop innovative solutions” that improve lives. Her work focuses on healthcare environments where that can help patients and families feel more at ease while creating workplaces that support and inspire caregivers. “I’m passionate about community impact,” she says. “I try to incorporate healthy materials, local artisans and design decisions that benefit both building occupants and the broader environment.” Beyond project work, she shares her expertise through industry speaking engagements, articles, and a continuing education course developed for NeoCon 2026. Outside of work, Caterina enjoys family bike rides, cooking, card games and dreaming of future adventures in Santorini.
