What if? A Bold Approach to Open Collections at The Franklin Institute
The July issue of International Association of Museum Facility Administrators (IAMFA) member magazine Papyrus includes the story of the recent renovation of the Hamilton Collections Gallery at The Franklin Institute.
As part of a comprehensive plan for TFI, the gallery was transformed into an open collections experience, where visitors get a peek at the work of curators and collections staff in-action.
The article is authored by Chris Wood and Kevin Ricart in collaboration with Susannah Carroll, director of collections at The Franklin Institute.
