For the past 44 years, Athletic Business' Facilities of Merit program has showcased the 10 most impressive athletics, fitness and recreation facilities for their outstanding design, functionality and community impact.

Selected by a panel of five architects, we are proud to share that Texas A&M University Southside Recreation Center has been honored as Athletic Business's Facilities of Merit™ Class of 2024.

Receiving this recognition upholds SmithGroup's esteemed tradition of excellence in recreational facility design. We are proud to have garnered a total of six awards, with three of these accolades achieved in the past five years.
