Jennifer Youssef Joins SmithGroup as Health Client Leader in Houston
Jennifer Youssef has joined SmithGroup as its newest Health Client Leader in Houston. In her new role, Jennifer will lead her team in helping health providers solve their most complex challenges, with a focus on service, reliable expertise and a vision to design a better future for healthcare in Houston.
Jennifer brings more than 20 years of architectural experience in diverse Health projects such as Memorial Hermann Health System’s Sarofim Pavilion Tower, UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs, multiple campuses for Common Spirit and more. Over her career, she has expertly designed and delivered projects at every scale. Her extensive portfolio underscores her longstanding, strong relationships with prominent clients such as Memorial Hermann and CommonSpirit.
Jennifer has dedicated her career to the design of diverse facilities for many of the Lone Star State’s largest hospital systems. She believes healthcare architecture can shape the wellbeing of society with its healing environments, and healthcare design is a differentiator as it addresses practical and emotional needs, augments the landscape and improves the quality of life for the community it serves.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University. She is a licensed architect, is board-certified by the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), serves on the accreditation board for ACHA, and is a LEED accredited professional.
As Jennifer joins the team, she brings with her a well-rounded and talented team of experts from her previous firm who will further contribute to and bolster SmithGroup’s healthcare expertise and presence in the Houston region.
In addition to welcoming Jennifer, Lauren Petak joins the firm as a senior project architect, Victoria Villarreal joins as a project designer and medical planner, Kathleen Marco joins as our newest architect and Johnny Johnson joins as a project manager.
